There is no minimum. Digital printing has no plates and no origination charge, so a run of twenty is a perfectly normal order and there is no setup fee lurking behind a small quantity.

The unit price does fall on longer runs, because cutting, weeding and finishing become more efficient the more you do at once. If you are ordering something that will not change — a logo decal, a safety warning, an asset label — it is usually worth taking a larger quantity while the job is set up. If the design includes a date, a price or an offer, order what you will actually use.

Yes, when specified for it. Exterior-grade self-adhesive vinyl with a suitable over-laminate handles weather, UV and washing, which is why the same materials go on vehicles. Expect several years outdoors on a properly prepared surface.

Surface preparation is the part people skip. Vinyl needs a clean, dry, non-porous surface with no silicone polish or release agent on it — a label applied over dust or wax will lift at the edges within weeks regardless of how good the material is. For anything going onto plant, machinery or a vehicle we will tell you what it needs to stick to and how to prepare it, or fit it ourselves.

Yes. Contour cutting follows the outline of your artwork, so a label can be any shape you like — a logo cut to its own silhouette, a circle, an oval, a shield, a bespoke die shape — rather than a rectangle with white corners.

Cut vinyl lettering is the same process taken further: the background is removed entirely and only the letters and shapes remain, applied with transfer tape so they land on the surface as separate elements. That is what makes lettering on a window or a vehicle look painted on rather than stuck on.

A printed sticker is exactly that — your artwork printed onto adhesive material and cut out, with the material itself forming the background. Full colour, photographs and gradients are all available, and it is the right choice for anything with detail in it.

Cut vinyl has no printing at all. Each letter or shape is cut from solid coloured film and the background is removed, so what goes on the surface is just the letters. It gives an extremely crisp edge, the colour never fades unevenly because it runs through the film, and on glass or a painted panel it looks integral. Simple logos and lettering usually look better cut; anything photographic has to be printed. We will tell you which suits your artwork.

Both, depending on how you use them. Sheets suit hand application and mixed sets. Kiss-cut sheets, where the label is cut but the backing is not, make peeling much quicker when someone is applying a lot by hand.

Rolls make sense for higher volumes and for anyone using an applicator. Tell us how the labels get applied and by whom, and we will finish them to suit — it makes a real difference to how long the job takes at your end, and it costs nothing to get right at ours.

Yes. Sequential numbering, barcodes, QR codes and variable data are all produced from a data file, so each label in a run can carry unique information — asset tags, serial numbers, inspection records, security seals.

Send the data as a spreadsheet and we will merge it, which is far more reliable than anyone typing several hundred numbers by hand. We proof the first few and the last few before running the full batch, so a formatting problem is caught at the start rather than discovered across the whole order.
